This is a small step for a person to take but it will definitely have a great impact on the society around him/her. When followed by a mass of people, this is bound to have a ripple effect on the society, consequently making it a much better place to live & to grow, for every one!
So, if you want to do some good for the society, just Be Yourself! Without the fear of being labelled as 'weird', without the fear of rejection, dare to be original & different.

I cannot agree with you! Do u mean to say that a person is always right when he/she is genuine??
The world is where it is today because people have "genuinely" been what they are.. Look at all those dictators, greedy business tycoons, money-laundering bureaucrats, corrupt politicians.. Do you think they were/are faking themselves to be so?
There is a Sanskrit saying which goes as:
सत्यम् ब्रूयात् प्रियम् ब्रूयात् न ब्रूयात् सत्यमप्रियम् |
प्रियम् च नानृतं ब्रूयात् एष धर्मः सनातनः ||
Speak truth in such a way that it should be pleasing to others. Never speak truth, which is unpleasant to others. Never speak untruth, which might be pleasant. This is the path of eternal morality, sanatana dharma.
