There's no real day to celebrate a sense of Thankfulness... Here I am calling out to myself all those things I am really Thankful for and to realize how a lot of things can be not-so-granted for many others walking the earth.
I am extremely thankful (without being emotional or mushy) for -
* My wonderful parents. Over some rough and tough waves, I've come to realize how I've inherited so much from them - for example, character and values. What I envision out of my life has all been influenced greatly by them, by their words and action.
* A beautiful family, in my husband and his parents. A set of people who will take me as I am, with virtues and vices alike.
* All my grand parents who have passed on excellent qualities through their progeny to me. Even if I have only an iota of some.
* A handful of genuine friends, who I know will accept and help me in whatever material or mental state I knock on them.
* A bounty of parent-like-friends (friends' parents) who consider me their own kid.
* A good education, ably crafted by my parents & sister.
* A job, that pays me for what I need and even more.
* A good three meals a day.
* A treasure of cousins who love me. Unconditionally.
* A sea of relatives - who have been teaching me, things that cannot be taught in classes or learnt through a degree.
* A small sense of wisdom, My beacon-light-within.
* A mind that gets satisfied easily.
* All those happy, sad, easy, tough, extremely tough situations in life, that have help me hone myself in different ways, adapt and grow stronger.
* All those places that I have seen and all those places that remain to be seen.
* The beauty of nature that I am able to enjoy, appreciate, drink and relish.
* The music all around, natural and man-made, listening to which sometimes makes me transcend this material plane and delve into a higher state of tranquil.
* All those mysteries of life that I realize, regardless of whether I am able to solve them or not. There's a beauty in mystery.
Ah.. there.. I can keep going on and on. The list seems endless, to write it all here may trivialize the essence each holds in my life.
So, on those days when things really hit me and I feel oh-so-blue and start cribbing, I'd like to come here and take a look at this list so it'll put my senses back in place.
Thank You, Life. I Love You!

We should also be extremely thankful to the one who rejects us and makes us realize what we can never get.
Wow beautifully put :)
